“Overall, Blue Water is experiencing a very positive development, and as a natural part of our strategy of covering all Danish Ports we have decided to open an office in Frederikshavn. With this addition, we now have 57 offices globally, and we expect to establish further offices this year”, says Managing Director of Blue Water Shipping, Kim Hedegaard Sørensen. The new office is a sub-division of Blue Water Shipping in Aalborg. The Frederikshavn office will primarily be involved in port agency services, stevedoring and other harbour-related assignments, and the central location on the harbour is no coincidence. “There is good activity in the area surrounding Frederikshavn, and we feel that we can contribute to the growth with our products and services. We see a lot of exciting possibilities, and look forward to establishing a close contact with the companies in the area – and helping them solve their different transport and logistics needs through individual solutions of high quality and flexibility”, says Ole B. Ulriksen, general manager at Blue Water Shipping in Aalborg. Peter Højer will be in charge of the new office in Frederikshavn which will open on 15 January. Through his earlier employment he has great experience and a solid knowledge of both the business as well as the local environment. At the same time, Peter has a large network of clients and business partners. | Peter Højer (left) will be in charge of Blue Water Shipping’s new office in Frederikshavn. On the right: Ole B.
