Well back home 17 Danish companies can look back at four successful days at the Offshore Technology Conference/OTC in Houston, US. At the Danish Pavilion arranged by Offshore Denmark they experienced great demand and a high quality of networking and contacts.
“In spite of the low oil price, this year’s OTC surpassed all expectations. A lower number of attendees than last year’s OTC was compensating by a higher quality of our visitors. The Danish companies experienced a great interest at the world’s largest offshore exhibition. Now more than ever contact and networking are important aspects – and OTC is a fantastic platform to get in contact with major players in the oil and gas industry”, says managing director of Offshore Denmark Mogens Tofte Koch.
After the exhibition, OTC announced that more than 68.000 attendees from 120 countries gathered at the annual conference. The exhibition floor was sold out and more than 2.600 companies from 47 countries attended the conference. As always the Danish Vice Consul Anna Holliday opened the Danish Pavilion, which participated for the 16th time at the OTC.
As a result of a successful exhibition the participation of the Danish Pavilion at OTC 2017 is ensured and most of the Danish companies have already signed up. This year, Offshore Denmark arranges joint Danish pavilions at Offshore North Sea 2016 (ONS) in Stavanger and at Offshore Technology Days 2016 (OTD) in Bergen. So if you did not participate in the OTC, you still have the opportunity to join the Danish Pavilion at the exhibitions in Norway this year.
